Black Rock Turnpike Merchants to Hold Holiday Open House

The Town of Fairfield’s Office of Community & Economic Development is pleased to invite the public to take part in a Holiday Open House on Friday, December 13th from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. with select merchants on Black Rock Turnpike. Participating merchants will be offering in-store specials, discounts, and spreading holiday cheer!

 

Fairfield’s Community & Economic Development Director Mark Barnhart stated, “We encourage everyone to shop local, not just during the holidays, but throughout the year.  The Holiday Open House is a great opportunity to support our many local small businesses while getting some holiday shopping done.”

 

Participating merchants and offers are included below:

 

Black Rock Coffee House, located at 2480 Black Rock Turnpike, is collaborating with Ocean Blu Boutique for the festivities – they are next door neighbors in the White Birch Plaza!

 

Bricks & Minifigs, located at 1929 Black Rock Turnpike, is offering a “Kids’ Night Out” at two different times: Session 1 is from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. while Session 2 is from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. Kids can free build, make derby cars, and a create a take-home minifig.  Pizza will be provided.  $25 per child. Bring your kid to Bricks & Minifigs while you shop!

 

Children’s Art Classes, located at 2377 Black Rock Turnpike, will hold an open studio night where kids can stop by for a quick holiday themed art project while parents learn about programs, free trial classes, gift cards, etc. 

 

Chip’s Family Restaurant, located at 525 Tunxis Hill Cutoff, is offering a $5.00 coupon for meals over $30.00 in total. The discount may not be combined with any other offers.

 

Crumbl Cookies, located at 2261 Black Rock Turnpike, is offering 10% off any 6-pack

Kitchen Corner, located at 2359 Black Rock Turnpike, is offering 20% off Holiday Items 

Lenox Jewelers, located at 2500 Black Rock Turnpike is offering free jewelry cleaning & a complimentary beverage while you shop.

 

Ocean Blu Boutique, located at 2480 Black Rock Turnpike, is offering 20% off holiday items, having an artist showcase, and collaborating with next door neighbor, Black Rock Coffee House.
