Twiddle is a thoroughly likable and gifted quartet that hops right into a blend of jazz, rock, reggae and funk to create an upbeat sonic tapestry. Fairfield University Bookstore Artist – Peter Konsterlie

August 1 - September 16

Dots and Spheres is on exhibit at the Fairfield University Bookstore Stairwell Art Space. Peter Konsterlie lives and works between Connecticut and New York. He uses drips of paint and spray-paint patterns as a structure for his images to break through, and to be a part of–using tag sale items and unwanted household kitchen objects to make patterns.

Rock4RV CJD Benefit Concert

The benefit concert is in memory of Robert (Bob) Vitanza, who was taken by Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) in 2008. All funds raised will be donated directly to the CJD Foundation Inc (CJDF) (http://www.cjdfoundation.org), a 501(c)(3) organization committed to supporting individuals and families affected by this rare and fatal brain disease. Please join us on the path to find a cure!

College Planning for Musicians

The panel will address how to leverage their music skills in the application process, discuss critical issues concerning financial planning and review the importance of preparing recommendations, résumés, and recordings. Summer Music Series at the Pequot Library: Alex Beyer

Internationally-recognized and award-winning classical pianist Alex Beyer returns to the Pequot Library.  A 2016 bronze medalist in the Queen Elisabeth Competition and Top 5 finalist of the American Pianists Association Awards, Alex has been a guest soloist with the Brussels Philharmonic, the National Orchestra of Belgium, the Royal Orchestra of Wallonia, the Harvard Radcliffe Orchestra, and the Irish National Symphony Orchestra. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students. All proceeds from ticketed concerts support Pequot Library free music events!
