Post Road, Fairfield
Celebrate Memorial Day by attending Fairfield’s annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies sponsored by the Fairfield Memorial Day Committee. Parade Route: line of march will run East from South Pine Creek Road along the Post Road to the Library, then South along Old Post Road to Flint’s Corner, and then East along Old Post Road passing the Town Green and continuing beyond South Benson Road.
The community is invited to bring family and friends, blankets and picnic baskets to extend the festivities at the Fairfield Museum after the Town Parade. Enjoy an afternoon of food, games, crafts, and fun activities for everyone! The Fairfield Museum is a proud member of Blue Star Museums, a program that offers free admission to museums for all active duty, National Guard and Reserve military personnel and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The Culper Ring: The Spies of George Washington
Find out how history is interpreted in various media, from graphic novels to historical drama on television. Kirk Manley, graphic artist for the exhibition Culper Ring: The Spies of George Washington has a series of graphic novel-style panels that tell the dramatic story of the spy ring that operated between New York City, Long Island, and Fairfield during the Revolutionary War. Manley’s new graphic novel will also be available for purchase in the Museum Shop!
