Penfield Pavilion

With arched cathedral ceilings and a clean, contemporary feel, Penfield Pavilion finds perfect balance between modernity and a direct relationship with the natural world. A striking glass wall opens out onto a covered deck and looks out at unobstructed views of Long Island Sound, the perfect backdrop for onsite ceremonies and a perfect transition to a lively cocktail hour, with beachfront access. Accommodating seated functions up to 180 guests and cocktail parties up to 300 guests, the main room can hold up to 16 round tables (with dance floor) and 22 without a dance floor. Access includes tables and chairs, a full warming kitchen, Heating/Cooling System, Sound System and WiFi, bringing together an ideal package to create your most memorable event.

Jacky Durrell Pavilion

With captivating panoramic views of Penfield Beach and Long Island Sound, and a distinctive atmosphere of rustic charm filled with natural light, the Jacky Durrell Pavilion is a welcoming and more intimate sibling to the larger Penfield Pavilion. Newly whitewashed walls and soft grey flooring bring a fresh, beachy feel to the space, while exposed beams and vaulted ceiling work harmoniously to create a sense of space and comforting simplicity. Impressive glass walls open up onto a wraparound deck, perfect for cocktails, mingling and a beautiful waterfront backdrop. Accommodating up to 125 guests, the pavilion includes access to commercial kitchen equipment, a variety of tables and chairs, and a working fireplace to transform your celebration into an enchanting event to remember.

Burr Mansion

Host your wedding at a remarkable space, steeped in history, and walk in the footsteps of former guests including George Washington, Samuel Adams, John Adams and Aaron Burr. Originally constructed in 1732 and rebuilt around 1790 by Thaddeus and Eunice Burr following the Revolutionary War’s burning of Fairfield, the property is both intimate and expansive, making it ideal for both small and large gatherings. The Mansion features elegant rooms, including a ballroom and sunroom, with high ceilings, ornate moldings and marble fireplaces, and was the setting for John Hancock’s marriage to Dorothy Quincy in 1775. Outside, the more than four-acre garden provides picturesque scenery, including a tea house, magnificent old trees and flowers, as well as a reflecting pond and turn of the century fountain. Furnished bridal rooms and newly renovated facilities as well as a fully equipped catering kitchen are available, and tables and chairs are included with each rental. Whether for a summer garden wedding of more than 200 or an intimate reception, Burr Mansion is your opportunity to celebrate your love with an unforgettable experience.

Artisan is the perfect venue to host an intimate micro-wedding ceremony & reception!
Influenced by the rhythm of the seasons, Our New England inspired American cuisine has an emphasis on the farm to table approach and all of our dishes are hand crafted and made to order with our guests in mind. A customized menu will be curated by our Executive Chef and will include a full package experience.
Our largest private event space, The Folly, offers a unique indoor/outdoor experience and can seat up to 70 guests with room to dance the night away.
Artisan can also accommodate larger groups with a restaurant buyout that would include our garden terrace, main dining room, tavern and 2 other private event spaces.

The Scandinavian Club is an organization founded for the preservation of Scandinavian traditions and culture. Our current membership, whose backgrounds include Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, Norwegian and Swedish heritage, enjoy many diverse and interesting club activities, including dinners, dances, picnics, concerts and parties.
Perfect for weddings and can hold up to 200 for a sit down dinner, with a dance floor it seats less, and 400 for stadium style seating. Enjoy access to a full deck with ample surround seating and our large flat back yard with a black top area. The back yard, with a beautiful green landscape makes the perfect backdrop for your outside wedding.
