ANNUAL SHOP & STROLL INTO SPRING EVENT RETURNS THIS THURSDAY, APRIL 27!

The Office of Community & Economic Development, in partnership with the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, looks forward to seeing you at the annual “Shop and Stroll into Spring” event on Thursday, April 27, 2022.

Over 25+ participating shops in downtown Fairfield will open at their regular times with extended hours through 9pm offering patrons a time to browse, enjoy light refreshments and to shop local with a variety of in-store promotions to kick-off the spring season as well as shop early for graduation and Mother’s Day gifts! 

Join us at the Shop & Stroll into Spring Pre-Event Happy Hour, which will take place at Old Post Tavern (1418 Post Road) on Thursday, April 27th beginning at 5 p.m. Be sure to stop by to grab a drink and something to eat before visiting your favorite shops! We will also be giving away free Fairfield buy local totes bags with goodies from many of our participating merchants (while supplies last)! As a part of this year’s event, funds will be raised for Operation Hope. Please consider making a monetary donation or bring a food pantry item from the list to the Pre-Event Happy Hour! Pantry items needed include: Ramen Soup Cups, Sugar, Oil, Pancake Mix & Syrup, Crackers, Green Tea, Stew & Chili, Decaf & Instant Coffee, Pudding & Jello, Salt & Pepper, Mouthwash, Deodorant, Tampons, Paper Towels.
